Inside Renjord - News
May 2018
Pallets with coco peat grow bags (70% coco peat & 30% coco chips) and 1000 GSM Coir needle felt have arrived in Norway. The grow bags will be used as a growing media for outdoor precise farming. The required nutrients will be supplied through the water periodically. In this method, the excess leaching of nutrients into the ground can be avoided, and in addition, the evaporation of water can be reduced. The coir needle felt can be used to control soil erosion, to produce lawn turf and to promote vegetation on wetland by stabilizing restoration.

September 2017
A pallet of coco peat from Renjord AS was used in Aarhus Museum for an Indoor Garden Project. The project was growing grassland inside the Aarhus Museum and planned by Per Kristian Nygård. The installation had a hydroponic system with a built-in drip-irrigation watering system and coco peat as growing medium. Nutrients were supplied periodically along with water. The project was at display in Aarhus Museum from April 2017 to September 2017.
August 2017
We test our products in actual growing conditions together with greenhouse growers to confirm our products quality and performance. One of the tests was carried out in a greenhouse in Norway where our product was used for growing begonia, pelargoniums (geraniums) and for green plants cutting propagation. The plants showed rapid root formation and fast growth rate. The products were tested in several batches and the performance was found to be consistent
